Final Countdown

Another quarter in the books and 10 weeks left till my journey at Kendall will come to an end.

This past quarter I started my senior Capstone project which will be continued in the Winter quarter with my team’s final presentation. For our specific concept, we are pairing up with The Albert in EMC2 for an industry challenge which had a focus on increasing their lunch traffic/turnover rate. This past quarter we focused primarily on developing who their target market is and what demographics are looking like in that area. Not only that but throughout the project, I was able to learn how to prepare a business plan but also designing a floor plan and developing marketing strategies.

My last quarter at Kendall I will be focusing on completing Capstone but also some last couple courses alongside with my senior internship.  I’m looking forward to seeing what the next quarter brings and what amazing things I will be able to learn and master. Currently, I am also thinking and planning what I would like to do after I complete my winter quarter. As of right now, I am working as a front desk agent but I am looking to transition into an events position to further develop my hospitality career. Which makes the winter quarter a very exciting time since I will be taking an events class and beverage course as well.
