Randy McInnis Summer 2020 Blog

My Journey has come to an end in my culinary experience at Kendall College at National Louis University. It has been a challenging and bumpy road in completing my degree. I couldn’t have done it without the help of the Kendall College Trust who lifted much of the financial burden from my shoulders so I could finish my last quarter. It’s sad to say that I will be leaving, but I will never forget the helping hand they gave me.

This summer has been challenging for all of us, especially in completing the remainder of our classes prior to graduation. My summer classes have molded and solidified my knowledge in my culinary career. Just to highlight a few classes, some of which were Marketing and English- speech. These classes gave me understanding and propelled me to think on a different scope when it comes to business and presenting my work. The KCT has boosted my confidence and helped me to help others and motivate them even when there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I would say, each member of the board has contributed greatly in putting their hands together in giving me an emergency fund. This gave me a major boost in accomplishing my degree, and now I can freely give a big thanks to each and every one. Because I am now at the finishing line, compared to when I just started out. I didn’t know where I was going to end up or how I was going to complete my degree without some financial help or guidance. Kendall College has done a lot for me, and I really appreciate the patience and time each Professor put in to help us to be successful and gaining wisdom. I just want to express an endless emotional thanks to the Kendall College Trust for their help in keeping me enrolled. I am true testimony to the greatness this board has given me. I implore each person that is reading this right now to give KCT a try and apply for scholarships, you will never know when your day and dream will come through.
