This scholarship has allowed me to focus on school, more than I could’ve without it. I’m working towards two concentrations since having received this scholarship. My two concentrations are hotel and lodging, and sustainability. This past quarter, I had a certifications, standards, and eco-labels class that includes training to become L.E.E.D. accredited. That stands for leadership in energy and environmental design. This is one of my passions, and I plan on taking the test later this year to become accredited with L.E.E.D.
