The summer quarter is coming to an end as well as my time at Kendall. As I go on my last internship, I reflect back on the past 3 years I have been at Kendall. It has been an experience I will never forget and one that will help me progress in my career. These past two quarter have consisted of classes as usual and also the senior project, Capstone. Capstone has taught me time management, patience, communication, and leadership. Working with a team can be difficult at times but also very rewarding. Many factors come into play when there are many people working together towards the same goal. The project turned out to be a great success for us all and brought us together in the end. With the traits I have acquired and strengthened this past quarter and at my time at Kendall as a whole, I can go on an internship confidently and ready to learn more about the industry.
The food & beverage industry is one with long hours and hard work but is also the one I love. Leaving Kendall, I will put my best foot out in the industry and be an image for not only myself but for the school. Finally, the scholarship donors deserve a huge thank you for helping me and all other recipients continue our education at Kendall.
